Collect Client Deposits, Convert, and Settle Globally
How a CFD broker uses FiveWest to collect client deposits and convert and settle globally
Challenge
The situation
A multi-jurisdiction CFD broker takes client deposits in the currency their traders use locally, then needs that capital available, in the right currency, to support trading positions and liquidity commitments across the business.
Traditional banking rails run on banking hours. Correspondent networks add delay at every hop, and when FX spreads widen it affects margin. Capital sitting in the wrong currency, or stuck mid-transfer, isn't cycling back into the business, and when it needs to move outside normal hours, or something needs a fast answer, getting a person on the other end of a banking relationship can be the hardest part.
FiveWest
The solution

ZAR Collections
client deposits are collected in ZAR via EFT or Open Banking using FiveWest's licensed third-party collection framework, giving the broker a trusted local collection capability without needing to hold or maintain the banking relationship directly. Where deposits are in another currency, not ZAR, the broker funds their FiveWest account directly.
Two products, one flow: deposits come in through a licensed collections framework, and convert into working liquidity without the broker needing a banking partner in every corridor it operates in.
